Our state of the art medical-grade laser with trio technology (Alexandrite 755nm; Diode 810nm; Nd:Yag 1065nm) provides safe and impressive results. Suitable for all skin colours within the Fitzpatrick scale. The laser system features a sub-zero cooling tip which enables continuous cooling throughout, providing a comfortable pain-free experience.

How It Works

Laser Hair Removal works by directing a precise wavelength of concentrated light to target melanin (pigment) within the hair. The light energy is converted to heat which damages the hair follicle. Dark hair absorbs the most heat because it has the most pigment, giving darker hair the most effective outcome. The laser inhibits the hair's ability to grow without damaging the skins surface.

Laser hair removal is most effective when hair is in the anagen phase (the active growth phase).

Not effective on blonde, red, grey and white hairs. These hairs lack the melanin required to attract the laser to convert to heat effectively.

Laser Hair Removal For Hormonal Conditions

Hormones have a close association with hair growth, they can impact the hair cycle, density and follicle structure. Conditions such as Hirsutism (excessive hair growth) can lead to feelings of self-consciousness due to unwanted facial and body hair. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is the most frequent cause of hirsutism. Other hormonal conditions Hypertrichosis, certain medications and use of anabolic steroids are associated with excessive hair growth.

Our laser hair removal technology is highly effective for managing hormone-related hair growth. Sometimes more regular sessions may be required to help manage ongoing hormonal effects and expectations. A bespoke treatment plan will be discussed during consultation.
